ABOUT BC

        BC Hoffman started his love of cocktails, food, and entertaining early on in the kitchen of his Austrian grandmother who was a chef that was skilled in everything from Doboshtorte to Schnitzel.

        Born in Washington DC, he quickly went from an apprenticeship in a Maryland sushi restaurant to working in Miami with James Beard Award winners Michelle Bernstein and Chef Marvin Woods kitchen.

        A graduate of Johnson & Wales, his must have kitchen tools are the food processor and iron skillet which he uses to cook up his favorite soul food comforts.

        In his free time BC likes to spend time behind bars, no not those kinds of bars... He has honed his skill as a mixologist and creates as many unique libations as there are days in the year. 

        In addition to operating his own catering company, he is busy, teaching, training, mixing and cooking in Los Angeles. 

        He has also had the opportunity to globally showcase his skills in numerous food and beverage competitions and shows on Food Network and YouTube. 

        He currently is the recipe developer, experience curator, and content creator for Proof Media Mix, the co-owner of Well Work beverage consulting, is a creative consultant for The Museum Of The American Cocktail, and a director on the board of the United States Bartenders Guild of Southern California.
